Congratulations to team Amalfi in Tustin on turning final units! The project looks beautiful and boasted a 91% Diversion Rate, the percentage of construction debris diverted from the landfill and recycled.
The stakes for not meeting the state’s 50% minimum diversion rate on this project were staggering and included fines of up to 5% of construction costs. Due to our team’s diligence, the project was able to greatly exceed the state’s minimum diversion requirements and carried out our sustainability initiative’s mission statement – to lead by example and robustly limit our impact as we shape the environment.
Soaring palm trees, resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness room, fireplace courtyard, dog park, and horseshoe pits – these are just a few of the amenities offered by Amalfi Apartment Homes. SL Residential provided pre-construction and construction services for this 533-unit multi-family gated community developed by the Irvine Company.
Eight of the residential buildings are four-story wood frame structures over parking with a total of 416 units. Six of the residential buildings are three-story wood frame structures on-grade with a total 117 residential units.
In addition to detached garages and carports, the community also offers 3,820 s.f. leasing office/iCafe, a 2,700 s.f. club room with gourmet kitchen, BBQ areas, and electronic vehicle charging stations.
