Our ASICS project is complete!
As a brand driven by the desire to bring harmony to the body and soul, ASICS America wanted their headquarters to reflect the company’s values of innovation and pushing the limits. Their new 110,000 s.f. space accomplishes exactly that through its unique design and obvious nod to wellness with its training center, offices, cafeteria, and company store.
The tenant improvement occurred in two buildings. This work required demoing all existing spaces, building out new interior structures, helicoptering new rooftop HVAC Package units, and installing high-end finishes such as reclaimed wood, slat walls, Kline doors, vibrant accent colors, unique pendant light fixtures, sports rubber and wood flooring, and idea paint walls to foster a collaborate and dynamic work environment.
The existing Irvine Company warehouse was structurally retrofitted. This entailed removing massive steel columns to accommodate a wide basketball and volleyball court with automated sports curtains and backstops. The state-of-the-art training center includes yoga and stretching areas, hot and cold therapy tubs, locker and shower rooms, weight rooms, and sports science labs for ASICS to test their latest gear on athletes and during training camps. The tenant improvement and company store were delivered in an accelerated three-month tenant occupancy time frame and the Cafeteria and Training Center were completed shortly thereafter.
