From our Chairman & Chief Executive Officer:

March 27, 2020

To our valued clients:

Since our initial notification on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, there have been significant changes within our state and local community due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. On Thursday, March 19, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-33-20, requiring all individuals to stay at home except for specific critical infrastructure sectors. The following day, Friday, March 20, 2020, an update was issued clarifying that Construction jobsites and projects are “Essential,” which allowed our projects to remain open.

Snyder Langston has worked tirelessly to communicate with our trade partners to keep our projects staffed appropriately to meet the contractual schedule while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. We have upgraded our Operation Protocols (see below) to allow work to continue while complying with the CDC and other local authorities for social distancing and hygiene.

As a result of the various government orders and of the virus itself, we have experienced some workforce reductions, inspection issues, and shortages of materials. In some instances, our trade partners have temporarily suspended all their operations. We are working with each situation to re-establish normal operations.

Please be assured that our project teams are working on-site and remotely to ensure your project continues to progress and to mitigate any impact this situation may have on the project. They are sourcing additional workforce and confirming future material deliveries. If there is a disruption in the supply chain, they are searching for potential alternatives that may be available. Your team will notify you of any specific items that may have an impact on your project, if any, as soon as they are identified.

Rest assured, Snyder Langston is working diligently through this unprecedented situation to ensure the health and safety of our workers and the community while also maintaining our contractual commitment to you.
