Today marks the last day of our longest-running Snyder Langston team member: Linda Martin. Linda is embarking on a new chapter toward that R word – Retirement.
Linda was hired by Gayle Jones in 1973. Gayle remembers that for years the two of them typed contracts, took bids by phone, and handled all office coordination. This was before computers – just IBM type writers, white out, and carbon paper. Bookkeeping and payroll were handled by calculator.
As this walk down memory lane indicates, Linda saw the company through a lot of changes and growth. We feel blessed to have had her support and contribution for 42 years.
