The overall project includes eight buildings totalling 93,250 s.f. located on an existing seven-acre parcel in Santa Ana, CA and was built in multiple phases. The Charter High School accommodates 480 students in a project-based learning STEM curriculum, with on-site living units for up to 80 students. Phase I was an interim campus plan which included 11 classroom and administrative modular units along with all of the campus infrastructure. The campus admitted their inaugural freshmen class in August 2013. Phase II includes a steel frame, three-story, 30,000 s.f. classroom building and an interim campus classroom complex that houses 120 students and was completed for the 2015 school year.

Phase III of the project includes an additional one story student services, administrative and academic building, and three residential units that house 80 foster care youth in eight family-style housing units. Phase IV of the project includes a science building and a physical education building with a gymnasium, auditorium, and athletic facilities. The site design allows for all rain water to be retained and filtered on-site prior to discharge into the city storm drain system through permeable pavers and a bio swale system. There is also a cistern incorporated into the Commons building for rain water collection that is used to irrigate a student garden area.
